Ralph Lauren RL5034 Eyeglasses ReviewsHeadline: Great glasses, lousy nosepads Was this a gift?: No Pros: Durable, Good Protection, Attractive Design, Cons: Nosepads too slippery, Uncomfortable, Describe Yourself: Modern, Comfort-Oriented, Stylish, Practical, Sizing: Feels true to size Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel, Driving, At The Beach, Bottom Line: not recommended Comments: These frames are very stylish but the slippery nosepads made them VERY uncomfortable to wear. The glasses kept sliding down my nose constantly, which was very annoying. I've been used to wearing Eddie Bauer frames for many years, which came with grippy silicone nosepads which stayed put even during sweaty workouts. I had to suffer through wearing these RL frames until I brought them to my optician, who inserted good silicone nosepads in them, for free. Ralph Lauren is a good designer: what's up with the chintzy plastic nosepads? Boo!
