Tag Heuer Wide 5202 Eyeglasses ReviewsHeadline: Sunglasses like look for eyeglasses Pros: Comfortable, Stylish, High Quality, Lightweight, Cons: Band won't fold Describe Yourself: Trendy/Stylish Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Best Uses: Menus, Reading, Travel, Outdoors, Low Light, Bottom Line: recommended Comments: Currently, I have Tag Heuer 7107 white. I love them so much that I am getting a 2nd pair so that I can swap between them. The bands are more elastic so they would wrap around you head even better than the track version. So if you need to play sports (or roller coaster), I don't think they would ever fall out unless your face get hit by a basketball. Actually, if that happens, the glasses would break first before falling out (due to their frame-less design)
I ordered the purple (015) color which were not even listed on their website but you could call and request them.
If you need to tint them for driving or just use them for prescription sunglasses, they would be perfect due to their super curved lens (contour to your face perfectly) so sun-ray is harder to come thru from the side
The only drawback of the glasses is that the bands are not fold-able unlike the track version (7***), so that when not used, they would take up more space.
Also, the lens are very curved and big (index of 8) like sunglasses lens so I am not sure if VSP (lab) would be able to source thin prescription lens to go along with the frame. Will update once I get my lens. If you are severely near-sighted, these might not be the ones for you due to the super big lens which would be very thick on the side. As a result, they would probably look very awkward on you, IMHO.
